Compulsory Online Video Presentation
Potential recruits must view the online video presentation on our YouTube channel. This video provides vital information about the program structure, required skills, and offer an opportunity for candidates to ask questions.
One-way Video Screening
Applicants who pass the initial one-way video screening will be notified via email or cellphone to complete an online application form and schedule a formal interview with a Workaway International representative.
Workaway International Interviews
Punctuality is paramount for any interview. Arriving early demonstrates respect for the interviewer's time and professionalism. Candidates should allow extra time for unfamiliar locations or unexpected delays due to traffic. Being punctual helps create a positive impression and avoids any perception of unreliability.
Orientation
Successful recruits accepted by an employer will attend (either virtually or in-person) a mandatory orientation session where the pre-departure process and important details will be explained. This includes information about passports, visas, associated costs, and medical examinations. Workaway International provides assistance throughout the visa application process.
Depart for the USA!
Once all relevant documentation is finalized and approved, successful participants are ready to depart for the USA. Departure dates vary depending on the place of employment. Upon arrival, participants will have a pre-arranged job and furnished accommodation, along with opportunities to explore major tourist attractions throughout their stay in the USA.
